Mooch and Marlow

In 2019 I decided to illustrate for McCaid Paul Books, and in July 2022, it was published! It took longer than I expected because I had never done digital art before. I thought it would be easier than drawing on paper because I have run into problems before, trying to transfer artwork to a digital format. However, I was wrong. I was not prepared for this decision. I worked on my dad's old work Ipad because that was the only device available. Because it was so outdated, I did not have the new Ipad pencil to write with or the right software, so for the first 17 pages, I drew with my fingers on a small sketchbook app. Considering all the challenges I faced, I am very proud of myself for taking on this project. Since then, my skills have improved, I got the right software, and I've taken on new projects such as designing wedding crests, logos, and more! I am so thankful for this book and all the new opportunities it brought me.
